Are you aware that the average life of an automobile in the hands of the original purchaser is 5.3 years? This was not always the case. In the generation before us the purchaser of a new automobile traditionally traded-in his or her car every three years. Cars or automobiles were not expected to last any longer than that. Then in the late seventies Detroit took a page out of Japan and Germany who were then building a better car, a car that could return 250,000 miles or more to the purchaser. By 1979 Detroit, through Chrysler, General Motors and Ford made some radical changes to their offerings ......And today the purchaser can relay on performance, longevity, and many added features, with just the sheer joy of driving his or her car!
